i bought some rumps, nice and thin in this instance (about half inch) as i cant be arsedwith cooking so wanted something quick. 2 minutes each side, just to warm it through really, let it rest whilst i fried an onion in thick slices. from pan to man in about 10 minutes.
just had one and it was excellent, the butchers i use is very good and remarkably cheap, pretty much half price compared to the supermarkets.
my usual steak cut is a fore rib of beef but it takes at least an hour to cook and i can be bothered to wait.0 -
