yeh they are a cool looking bike, even though it's covering my consevatory floor at the moment, how easy is the rear shock to set up?0 -
fairly easy, it's pretty much set and forget, and there's an air pressure table printed on it0

nice one, never even noticed it wrote on the rear of the piggyback shock, hopefully get it built by sunday as my old bike is stripped down, so should only take a few hours bolting it all back together, I am itching to get out on it even if it's only to the shops :P0 -

finally got the bike completed this morning, just need to get some different tyres as the nobby nics are pants, and are ultimately down to me having to build this bike0

Nice build, why are you having issues with the NNs? I found them superb0

it might just be me, but i push them beyond the limits of grip in the wet,i have never crashed so much with these tyres on, or is it just an excuse to buy some new ones :P0 -

They are not the grippiest in wet conditions, but are a superb trail tyre in normal/dry conditiond, more of a summer tyre.
I recommend the Kenda Nevegals 2.35 for general to wet/slightly muddy conditions. Held up for me in attrocious weather in Cornwall, until I slipped on a rock garden (but that was bad riding from me - have various scars from that crash)0 -
like it! lovely build there
i'm running a tioga factory DH 2.1 up front on my scott just because i had it lying around and thought it might be good for wet riding - turns out i was right, my front wheel almost never washes out, not great on roads though, as you can imagine.0
