Hello all

New to BikeRadar, but looking for a site that's a bit more active than my current forum.

I'm mostly a fair weather, wuss of a cyclist, but looking for a bit more motivation and inspiration to get out on my wheels and enjoy evenings and weekends when not obliged to commute stupid distances to work.

Any advice on using the forum and which way to the cake, please?

No cake, only opinionated, funny, mickey taking, serious, light hearted and stupid posters on here. And me, suave, debonair with a flinty eye and a nose for success. :D

    Nice to meet you.

I've seen some of the discussions. A couple of them I've found hard to take as being 'for real' but, having assumed they aren't, I've been giggling 'til I cried. 8)

If cake's a lie, I'll have to get baking, then. Pah.

    Welcome to the forums, Cirrus.

The best advice is probably to use the search function (next to the members list, top right) to see if any questions you have have been asked before - lots of stuff comes up regularly. Don't take anything too seriously or personally.

PM me if you find the cake.

    Hi Cirrus ,

I'd suggest the Sportive/Audax/Traning section and the 100k per month thread but it's already too late to sign up for that this year.

Hope you find what you are looking for.

I forgot to mention: You'll have to take the BR Oath of Allegiance.

Open your wallet and repeat after me, "Help yourself."
