Besides the Duo-normand does anyone know of any time trials in France / Belgium that are open to us Brits?

Time trials in France and Belgium are rare.
There are a few in Belgium, mostly free federation stuff, but often they are part of a mini-stage event with a road race on another day.
Look at WAOD and the other free federation Belgian organisations - you'll need a relevant licence (TLI usually). You need a BC licence for the Duo of course.
In my experience the courses are not anything like in UK - and no standard distances either. Bike handling is at a premium, and almost everyone uses a standard road bike (maybe with clip-ons).
We were highly entertained in Belgium once by a UK time trial specialist who turned up on a low-profile, and was lapped by Belgians on road bikes - on that course the longest straight is about 200 metres, and there are about 20 gravelly corners per lap!0 -
Not Belgium, but they were encouraging people to pop over for this on the TT forum.

Ah Ha!! Thanks for that.
Just fancied something a bit different after 20+ years of testing in the UK !!
Not going to set the race alight, but might be fun!!!0
