for those who watched it on Sky last year, is it a straight simulcast of British Eurosport?

No, it's the international Eurosport schedule.

    Which usually means more cycling!

Actually, I was going to say that too, because in past years that has been the case, but last year it seemed to be the opposite. There was a lot more of the Vuelta on British ES.

thanks for the info - might come in handy during "scheduling difficulties" when there's some obscure British GP free practice over running.

    Hooray! About time.

Can't say I watched much of the Vuelta.

I was just happy to get the last 150km of P-R!

I looked at swapping from Sky to Virgin media thinking there would be significant price difference but there wasn't...

Slightly OT - but is it true that you can get Sky Sports through Virgin on just a monthly 'pay as you go' basis as opposed to the 12 month contract you'd have to sign if you went direct with Sky?? If so then that would be very useful for one-off events like The Ryder Cup and British Lions rugby tours.
