    Booth was her maiden name (probably not the PC term for it now though!)

    Most female medical doctors do too - it maintains continuity of your name, so people can research your papers etc. more easily.

    How have the papers spun this? Are they outraged that Christians/Sikhs/Buddhists may be getting preferential treatment to atheists, or have they just gone with "MAN LET OFF FOR BEING A MUSLIMIST"?
