Cwmcarm uplift

Hi, just to let anyone who is going to cwmcarm on sunday no if they see to lads on new bikes looking a bit lost and confussed that wil be me and my m8. Its are first trip to a trial centre and first time on a DH course, any pointers and help much appreciated. Cheers jason

  • It might be a good idea to walk down the course before if it's your very first time. Walking back up also will show lines that you might not see on the way down. Just keep out the way of other riders! Obviously pad up as well, knees/ shins as a minimum.
  • Thanks 4 info, we both have knee/shin and elbow/forarm pads plus full face lids. Are there any areas to avoid/bewarey of?
  • Stay on the red run for your first time there definitely. I've been there a few times and it's a great course just take it slow on the first 2 or 3 runs so you know what you are up against and then you can to go for it when your confidence is high.
  • What a day at cwmcarn yesterday, best fun iv had ona bike ever, was my first time there and on a real track plus had my new bike, think iv found my new thing. Cant wait to go again and also explore other places. Any1 in bath/ bristol area that needs a riding buddy I do to now just get in contact. jas_tdi@hotmail.co.uk
