Riding near Aberdeen?
Hi,
Going on Holiday near Aberdeen soon and was planning to take the bikes. I have ridden for years but my other half hasn't. Can anyone reccomend any good spots in the area which aren't too techy but good fun? (Also possibly scenic?).

Depends whereabouts you are going near Aberdeen but I would recommend out Royal Deeside way, around Ballater lot's of tracks and paths and definitely scenic including Balmoral castle.0

Pitfichie Hill has grades to suit all. See this link:

Also, as Wildboar says, check out Deeside. My other half and I have just started mountainbiking and we did this trail the other week, starting at Dinnet, to Ballater for lunch then back again. No complaints from the girlfriend! See it here:

It should have all you need. Have a great time wherever you go. There are some good places to see by bike.
