Cyclist found unconscious by passing doctor

Does anybody here know this area? Is it a busy road?

    :shock: I cycle that road Mon-Fri around that time - that Thursday I was making my first commute since taking paternity leave.

    I must have missed it by minutes.

    The road he was found on (Beech Grove) is quiet-ish - but is a popular short-cut with traffic from Otley road (which is very busy) going to and from the town centre. I turn left on to Otley road from Beech Grove in the morning and go back the same way going home.

    The problem with Beech Grove is that about 1/3 is permanently taken up by parked cars. When you make the turn into it from Otley road, the right-hand side of the road is effectively full, making oncoming traffic come much closer to you.
