Got this great blog from a friend in NZ. Basically, he's doing the length of NZ, on a fixed in 14 days for charity. He started yesterday. You can go back in the blog to his prep' if you're interested.
I've been 'put in' for a few dollars by my friend (anyone know the exchange rate? :lol: )

    Actually yes it could be as it got down to around £1 - $2.16 recently. Right now it's at $2.24.

    We consider $3+ to be great. Actually it was considered normal pre the credit crunch. Sigh :(

    As for cycling NZ on a fixie, wow that's impressive. NZ is faaaaaaar from flat and there's an entire mountain range down the middle of the south island!
