Giant: Glory or Faith...

Hi everyone!
I'm new to BikeRadar and I'm french (please apologize for my mistakes
).
I plan to buy a new bike which will be a FR/DH one, corresponding to my needs. But I'm actually hesitating between two Giant bikes, the Glory and the Faith...
This will be my first full suspension bike (what a gap!) and I actually ride a QBikes Shaolin (a not well-known French company). This is a hard-tail free-ride bike with a 130mm fork...
I'm hesitating since I'm 6"4 and 240 lbs. I pratice more local hard trails than bike parks, I also practice on DH tracks in the Alps but more in local trails. I'm not a crazy jumper but sometimes...
I would like to know if somebody own or has tested this bike to have their feelings on these, and I'm wondering about the stiffness of these bikes due to my weight...
Thanks to all for your answers

Your thinking of the 2010 ones i assume? From what i can see the faith has a shorter wheelbase and along with single crown rather than duel crown on the glory will be a more versatile machine for jumps as well as freeride/downhill, if you want to be able to downhill and a bit of jumping i would have a look at the Scott voltage freeride heres a link

As you said, it's about 2010 models :-)
I think Scott Voltage has too short travel in the front even if the bike is very nice!
My first choose was the Faith 0... And I won't go to DH races so it could be the best choice, but I'm afraid to be limited on big DH trails...
Thanks Phonk7 ;-)0 -
if the Faith fits is will be fine."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

If not i would say faith, it has been used by Giants freeride kurt sorge at red bull rampage and im sure if it can hold up to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGEoiZTxP2U[/url] it should give you enough confidence on any DH trail, but its up to you0 -
unless you're racing DH, the faith would be a better bike i think, more all round capable.... prettier too0

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the advices, but more precisely it will be more for downhill and a little bit for bike park... I think the Glory will more fit ma needs.
I also consider the Specialized Demo 8 II...0
