Plenty of peoplle out there even from a web search but you can't beat personal recommendation - talk to the neighbour. What ever you do it'll need planning permission and will need to comply with Part K of the Building Regs so get it properly designed.

I was going to say that you will need planning permission, but Mr Hulot has already beaten me to it, since you will need planning you will need a draffy or architectural technician to draw it up, who will probably know a decent fabricator in your area. It shouldn't be too expensive and there will be a few steel fabricators in the local book.
  • Hi

The neighbours balcony predates the neighbour, so no help there. I have planning permission and, yep, I'm aware of the building regs. Also I've already emailed a random selection of folk from google - hopefully i'll get something sensible from one of them

I was just looking to see if anyone had had something similar done - recommendations, warnings, advice, that kind of thing....

    Cheers
