Hi, this is aimed mostly at those in Ireland (all of it), but all welcome. Some things I am going to do this year - see the following websites....1/ www.runamuckchallenge.com 2/ www.roar.ie (West Wicklow) 3/ www.gaelforcewest.ie. Must be having a midlife crisis, but I'm aiming to do no:1 for fun, no:2 as a training run and no:3 just to prove that I can still do this at my age (just over 48 1/3). Anyone else interested?

Good luck, would love to do these - maybe next year though as I'm so unfit at present recovering from hip problems.Old hippies don't die, they just lie low until the laughter stops and their time comes round again.

Hey Iainment - got my ACL fixed after 4 years of rugby, cycling, without one (left knee). Have to give it a go and hope that 7 months training is enough - only worried about the running/jogging/walking part. A few trips to Glendalough to hike should sort that out. You could take a wee stroll up Carrauntohill! Go on - give them a go!!0
