9/10-speed freehub/8-speed cassette?
Hi all,
I am thinking of treating Good Bike to a new set of wheels. Part of my rationale is that Good Bike's current wheels can be passed down to Winter Bike, so in effect I get two new sets of wheels. The potential fly in the ointment is that Winter Bike runs an 8-speed groupset and the freehub on Good Bike's wheels is a 9/10-speed. Is there a way around this problem?
I notice you can get spacers to enable the running of a 7-speed cassette on an 8/9/10-speed hub, would one of these solve my issue?
Thanks for any advice.

shimano? 8/9/10 are the same except for the 10 only with the high splines."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
