Hey there

I just got a set of TAYA chain connecters, but i can't seem to get the plate over the pins.
The length between the two pins is simply too long for the holes in the plate to get down on the pins.

Anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong?

You have to flex the chain towards the side where the separate plate fits.

The flexing is why they are officially one use only. If you flex the plate with the two pins on it too often it may break.

I've got a TAYA connector on my 9sp chain and it has about 8,000 miles on it now, (4th chain) and still going strong. The chain connector gets taken apart at least every 300 miles for cleaning too so I'd say you could probably use it more than once.

    Worked perfectly.
    Thank you:P
