Any One Know About Handle Bars

this is the secound time ive done this as the other 1 was locked but oh well

hay im trying to make my bike lighter with a new handle bars and Maybe a stem havent decided on flat or low riser. i know im being a bit of a Weight Weeny but my current bars are 245g and im aiming for less than 200 without spending more than £40 have seen http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Easto ... 0151/#more OR

    They were 290g before!

    £40 for a 40g saving is absurd, don't bother.
  • My Raceface Deus bars are 210g.About the lightest you can get without going to the expense of carbon.

    Did you know for £40 you could save 150g if you haven`t already changed your cassette to something XT level,or equivalent?

    Tyre cahnge can also an easy weight saving.Saved 500g on those!

    You could also save similare weight from the saddle for about £40

    if you went to a flat bar, KCNC do a low weight flat bar (circa 130g iirc) for around £40 (finding stock maybe a problem though)

    Control Tech also do a low weight, scandium flat bar - CRC stock these, similar weight to the KCNC but slightly dearer (£49 iirc)

    not sure width's would be ok though
