Which tyre's ?

Hi guy's, first question after joining the forum so please go easy on me. I have a 2010 stumpy comp and have decided to change the tyre's. Reason being i have had a number of front wheel washout's since collecting the bike and this has dented my confidence some-what as i've never had the problem before. Will going to a slightly wider tyre help too? Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the forum!
    What pressure is the front tyre at? what is the front tyre/ how wide? It may be a matter of technique rather than your tyre.
    Also, is it the hardtail or full sus stumpy?

    Hi james, the bike is a full suss, the pressure is 25psi and the width is 2.2.
