Try small doughnut rings they slip over the cable preventing rattle think i seen them CRC or Parker.0

Think you said it was cable outer rattling yes?
The doughnuts do work but are fitted to the exposed cable inners.
You can get transparent cable scuff protectors. They stick to the frame. A couple of them on top of each other should dull the rattling.
Failing that, little foam sticky pads...but they would look a bit uglyMike B

Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos0

try cutting your outer the right length and routing it properly0

Mmmm, helpfull. Even so, they can still rattle....0

Which cables rattle. I had this with the gear cables on my Madone 5.2. I cured it by routing the RH cable to the LH side stop on the down tube and vice versa. I then crossed the cables as they run down under the down tube. The cable outers are now miles away from the head tube and no more rattles.0

Hand sew neoprene around the outer in the appropriate place. The old pencil cases or gloves work well.0
