Received my charger from Hong Kong today for the P7 torch (18650 batteries). It has an american style plug on though - can I just cut it off and re-wire a UK one on?
Thanks

hope it is not a US spec one as they use a different voltage.
what does it say for an input voltage?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

just get a converter plug that converts it to a 3 pin plug.... same as when you go on hol and take a adapter plug,,,
the voltage difference wont matter, i got stuff from all over the the world and use them.www.bearbackbiking.com

i wonder why I have a transformer to allow some US specstuff to work in the UK and Europe?
here is a Europe spec adaptor.
a US one would be 120V and would fry if connected directly to a UK/europe spec socket.
what voltage does the charger say it can handle?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Sorry nick, not sure if it is a US one, just looked like it from some pics.
Here is the charger:

It says on it: Input: AC100-240V 50/60Hz 500mA max0 -
2 thin blades is US. and as it says it can manage 100 to 240 it should be fine."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

alllll you need is...
1X shaver charger plug. (yunno, the one that converts the round dual pin to a 3 pin).
If you take the shaver adapter plug apart, there is a blacking plate that can be taken out.
Remove the blanking plate and the flat pin plug from the light charger will fit.0
