Can someone please tell me where I can purchase a hyperglide 50 and a 36 chainring? sounds easy but for some reason I cannot find them.

I'd replace them with stronglight CT2 chainrings,

I replaced my Sram Red ones with them...

TA are superbly strong...they just dont seam to wear out !...though they are costly.
Hyperglide is just Shimano's name for their shifting pins and slots.
Have a look at the rear of the ring and your see slots and small metal pins which help to shift the chain.
Other manufacturers have them but can't copy the name.
Would agree with Nap on the Stronglight rings , their strong as well and cheaper then TA.
Oh one point, wouldn't bother with Shimano chainrings as they dont live long at all and cost a fortune !
