1000 miles in one day

myself and some friends are looking at doing a 1000 mile in one day ride for some new play equipment at at a local primery school we are looking at doing a 10 mile lap of gisburn forrest fire road(so not too hard ) looking for as many people to do some laps so we dont end up doing 50 laps each :lol: it will be on march 14 its a sunday providing we get permisson from relitive people if you are interested can you let me know

    Person you need to contact would be Martin Colledge, he's the beat forester for Gisburn, martin.colledge@forestry.gsi.gov.uk.

    Can't imagine he'll have too many issues as long as there's not too many people taking part. He'll probably appreciate being asked up front, most people just assume the forest is fair game for whatever they fancy doing :roll: .
    It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
