Having collected individual tools for my cycling needs over the years, I find myself in the need for a decent quality toolbox, plastic I guess as my old metal one is rusting away. Compartments would be handy of course.

What do people use and where from? Thanks.

I find that fixing them to the wall of the garage where i can see what i have and whats missing. If you want to be pedantic then draw round them with a felt tip then you know where things live.
  • I agree about hanging them in the wall. Our local LIDL has wall mounted tool boards in next week. Yours might be the same.

I got mine in a sale at B&Q a few years ago, might still be available.

Alternatively get a bit of plywood and some nails.

I got a plastic toolbox from B&Q, plenty good enough.
I keep the more popular tools in the top tray, then when I go away to a Sportive, etc... I just take the tool tray with me.

I have a purpose-built timber workshop for holding my bike tools - it came flat-packed on a huge truck and took about 2 days and then I insulated the floor and roof and built a 10ft workbench with a number of heavy-duty drawers and cupboards!
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
