120mm travel on a rockrider 5 xc?

I am thinking of getting these for my rockrider 5xc 09.

It originally came with 100mm suntour xcr's, so would these affect the handling a lot/ snap the frame?

Shouldn't do, but always best to check with the manufacturer about warranty concerns.

I know on my Giant it invalidated the warranty when I asked about changing the forks from 100 to 120

I know the normal rule is 10mm above what it came as, and i don't want to invalidate the warranty either, so i'll get shorter ones. they just seemed a good deal, so i thought i'd see.
