How do me old muckers
I went down to the local bike shop this morning to book me a test ride on a Scott addict.
I was quite shocked as to what they required. The man said as they dont stock addicts they would have to get in touch with the Scott rep and ring me.they then rang me back to say they would want a full deposit on the bike at time of test ride which would be refundable on return from my ride which could be seen as exceptable.
But they cheeky swines want to charge me 50 pounds for the test ride!! this is unexceptable in my opinion they did say they would knock it of the the price of the frame if i buy it.but what if its not for me.
They can kiss my swingers!! i will shop else where :?

You wouldn't get that wanting to test drive a car!
Tell em to bollox.
JD Cycles in Ilkley stock Scott's - I've heard good things about them. I know they do test rides, cos I popped in to look at Cervelo's the other year and they offered me a ride on one.Expertly coached by http://www.vitessecyclecoaching.co.uk/

My LBS let you do a local test ride for nowt but charge 30 quid (refundable on purchase) to let you take it home and use it for a couple of days or a weekend etc...0 -
Big D 30 quid seems a more exceptable amount! but 50 seems just to much also taking into the fact i did buy my scott scale from them??? so it makes it harder to except. you dont fancy a visit down to epic cycles do you? you could maybe pick me up int volvo without the flashing lights though ...i dont want the neighbours talking
cheers for that Chip i did say in my lancashire accent....kiss my swingers im not paying that.just close your eyes and hear zak dingle you wont be far off0 -

I have my own Volvo!
That £30 is for a weekend though as well. You could actually 'hire' one for a big sportice or MTB ride!0 -
