See, I didn't kick off and was polite and factual (but firm) and my cover letter was AWESOME..... as I listed all the facts so there was no grey areas.

the problem with buying Deore kit as an "interim part" while you wait for the better stuff is you then feel the necessity to wear it out before swapping it out .... and it bloody won't. ever.

I had that with a deore rear mech, had to hand it over to some ham fisted airline luggage dudes in the end and they broke it, I couldn't
