Brake rotors

Hi all, i have purchased a trek ex 8 (09) bike three months back, i have been out riding several times throught the winter when i get time. I have noticed today that there is some rust appearing on both front and back rotors. Is this normal because of riding conditions (wet)? can i do anything to prevent getting worse?

it is normal.

make sure you dry them.
