My fromula R1 front brake makes an unusual noise. It has a very narrow groove for the disc to run in and it that's not centered properly, you get full on turkey gobbling but with it set right, it sill makes a quiet fffrrrrrr whirry noise when the brakes are applied. Not an unpleasant sound, just unusual. I've tried rubbing the discs and pads with wet and dry but it's still there. My rear Formula Rx doesn't make this noise. It doesn't seem to affect performance and doesn't bother me unduly but just wondered if they all did that?

have you given the pads time to bed in?

rotors with holes in them often make noises as the pads move over the holes.

Thanks - Yes, I did the whole hard braking till the discs sizzle thing but it was still there. I also centered and re centered and re centered it again. I think it's just the noise they make.
