Clip on areo bars

hi guys,

any advice on aero clip on bars for my road bike? been looking at Deda clip one carbon? anyone got these bars? do i need to trim back my bar tape to fit the arm pads? i think thats a really annoying thing to do

    Generally aero bars clip on right next to the stem so it's unlikely you will have to trim anything, unless you do your bar tape right up to the stem. The pads are on top of the bar tape. This is presuming you have oversize bars with those Dedas.

    I don't know about the Dedas, I just have the Profile Century ones which work well for me. They LOOK nice certainly if they fit you well, seem quite light and adjustable.

    It's annoying, but worth it unless you're happy to see chewed-up bar tape the next time you take the aero bars off. Good choice you're thinking of BTW :D
