Brake hose lengths

Hi. Am hating the avid juicy 5s on my Trek so looking to replace them. Anyone know the required hose length off the top of their head?

I assume 800 / 1400 is pretty standard and would be ok?

    tape measure?

    depends on a few things like fork travel and frame size.

    just measure your old hose

    should have explained that am at work and looking to purchase something off the internet...
