Looking at getting a set of Factory built Pro II Hoops
Straight pull or standard, which is best? theres only one way to find out......FIGHT
Seriously what are the pro's cons of each (the straight pull is a little lighter, so i'm swaying towards these)
Also whats the opinion of the Mavic 717 Rims?

I'd imagine standard would be more commonly stocked and there fore easier to fix should you snap a spoke....
Rotating weight is more important towards the outside (ie rim) than in the middle of the wheel0 -
All SP hope hoops come with spare spokes provided.0

I've been led to believe that SP is slightly stronger as the spokes don't have a weak spot at the bend where they go through the hub. Not sure how ture this is but it sounds plausable to me.0

I have heard the same warrerj, but tbh I have never broken a spoke in 3yrs MTB'ing.
I do like the look of the SP hubs though, and for an £40 I'd go with them probably.0
