How much was the chrome plating, if you don't mind me asking?0
-
In a word expensive {£188},but imo there is none better.DCP get items for plating from all over the world. The multi plating is superb, copper/ nickel is used prior to chroming .If sending stems for H/bars etc confirm all sizing so as the plating is not to deep were the insert is. Polishing before plating is what counts..bagpuss0

Yeah that's what I was expecting! I wanted to get 8" on the rear triangle and 8" on the forks chrome plated, but ideally I don't want to pay more than £125.
I've zinc-plated car parts in my garage, but the chemicals used in chrome plating are very very dangerous indeed (and if I'm saying that, they must be dangerous!). So for once I may actually have to pay someone to do something for me :x0 -
Simply stunning.d.j.

Very nice BP. I am looking foward to having enough money to restore my 1966 "straight" Experto Crede that Pete Beer kindly gave me. The Raleigh is great thanks. Welcome back Dave.0
