I am just wanting to know which are the best tyres to get for myself i am a bit bigger than your average bear and as i have not yet had a punture on my new kona i just want to know any recommendations off people. Which tyre is best for not getting a punture or is there a rock solid innertube that you can get. I mainly do xc and some road and the occasional trail on my mountain bike.

specialized the captain control 2.2 (around £20 each)
continental tubes are god, and cheap too, around £3 each off evans cycles
  • i have Panaracer fire xc pro 2.1 and light slime tubes which were from Rutland cycling, slightly pricey for what they are but 3 punctures last year says it all for me and i ride mainly xc with a few trips to Cannock aswell
