Well the wife is away with her Gran so I've got the weekend to myself.
I spent most of this morning sorting out mates bikes grabbed some lunch, watched the first half of Chelsea V's PNE and thought to myself, the fogs cleared I'll have a quick hour on the road.
So off I toddled, also ideal time to try out my new computer, it was chilly but not too cold and the roads were pretty quiet although there was a fair bit of road rubbish on them like gravel, mud and cow poo  suppose it's summit to do with riding on small country lanes.
Managed just under 19 miles in the hour, which is nice. And was quite impressed at getting up a climb that although not especially long is quite steep (for mid-Cheshire) anyway with a semi-false end too.

Nice one,
I got out and did 40 miles yesterday and 40 miles today. Odd day today, did not feel it, but my toes were frozen, even with covers on....
No sun what so ever out there though....0 -

I went out for a couple of hours - base layer, gore jacket and bib tights and I was too warm! Should have left off the base layer, although a lot of climbing probably contributed.0

Hi Steve,
just wanted to say good luck for your charity bike ride. I'm doing London to Paris for Macmillan in July. slow start with training as it's been pretty cold/snowy but doing a lot in the gym and did 15 miles before breakfast in the week. Got to start ramping up the training over the next few weeks!!!
anyway, all the best - hope you enjoy it.
