Polar Connectivity advice

Hi,

I have recently bought a s725x. I'm trying to connect it to my pc, I bought a USB IRDA Connection, but I can't get the data to transfer, does anyone know if I have to press any settings on the watch, my PC says the Infa Red is enabled. The instructions say refer to CD Rom, but there's is only downloaded instructions on there.

I think it may be my IRDA USB connecter, do I really have to pay £32, to transfer the data, the computer not looking like such a bargain now.

I bought a generic USB IrDa off ebay for £9.00 and works fine but did my my research on the Polar forum first. has to have a specific, which most have but can't remember specifics.

Polar USB drivers have to be installed manually off disc, didn;t seem to install during full program install.

select connect on HRM and should work fine.
