British Heart Foundation White Peak Challenge Bike Ride

A 30 mile (50km) or 50 mile (80km) ride through Derbyshire’s spectacular White Peak District that offers a real challenge!

Take in the rolling limestone and wonderful scenery on the ride. Starting at Darley Dale, near Matlock, the ride follows an on road route to the picturesque village of Winster where you will tackle the first steep hill. Then head to Brassington, Parwich, the historical village of Youlgrave and then make the last big climb to Stanton in the Peak before you head down hill to the finish.

No under 14's. This event requires high levels of fitness. Need to be keen cyclist, with practice on similar terrain.

    Sounds challenging to your average 10 mile commuter but I may have a go.

    Please can you give me an idea of the 50 mile route or is it just a second circuit of the same?
