I noticed this on the handlebars of an MTB today"

"Grip firmly at both ends for best performance."

So that's where I've been going erong....

    You don't get those sort of instructions on drop bars. Something to do with intelligence quota difference between Mountain goats and the noble art of Road cycling. :wink:

    I swear this is true. Back in '01 I had a set of dual controls delivered for fitting to my then tuition car, and on the box it said "Contents not for consumption".

    Even if I had felt a bit peckish it would never have even occurred to me...
