Me and a few mates fancy going for a weekend away biking.
We're totally new to non-UK biking so any ideas where to start?
For example we're looking at France or similar - how to get there, any recommendations, any other info etc

A friend and I went with TrailAddiction to Les Arcs in the French Alps last year.

We went for the week, but they offer weekends as well. It was absolutely awesome and I couldn't recommend it more. They know the all local trails and the guiding, food etc are all included for the price. We were going to organise something ourselves, but in the end this worked out as much better value.
I understand that it's a bit less downhill oriented than Morzine, but I've never been there so I couldn't be sure.0
