I am looking at buying a set of these pedals for my new road bike. Now the stupid question. I don't think my present shoes will accommodate the cleats for these pedals, so what shoes would you recommend I buy?

    some that will...??

Any road-biased shoe will do. Size, style and price are entirely up to you...

Have a look at the bottom of your shoes, if you don't have three screw holes in a triangle pattern then they won't take the cleats for these pedals. If you need to buy a pair then any road cycling (the ones with no grip or tread on the bottom) will do. Something like the Specialized Body Geometry Road Sport is fairly popular as a first road shoe.
