Hi, just joined up today, I've looked but maybe not very well, normally you have place to introduce yourself.

But anyway I'm a newbie, and just off to pick up my GT AVALANCHE 2.0.

I guess I'll look in later and ask lots of dum questions, beware!

:D

I've picked it up second-hand for £200 quid, v-good condition, a good price I think.

It has Maxxi 1.5 slick tyres on it, I guess they are best for road riding, I also have the orignal tyres as well.

I'm not sure what the 3 sets of numbers mean under the bike (serial number/frame number).

It was brought from Evans in Hendon early 2009, so I have emailed them for any info.

I'll be going out this weekend just for a quick try out,
  • :(

Don't seem to be able to get pics to work now!

Now all you need is a light so you can go out in the evening! I'm going out with my club from 8 till 10.30 and then a pint afterwards! :D

I have some lights, just not fitted them yet.

Also do you think I should be riding on the Maxxi Slick tyres that are currently on or go to the orignal tyres that came with the bike?

Any advice would be great.
