Yup - You are right - they grow them in barns and pluck them before their legs grow too long.

Right next to the haggis patch.... but what they do there is cut one leg shorter than the other so that when free'd the haggis can roam on the hills without being lop sided, however is only able to run a certain way round the hill....



When the haggis reaches maturity, they give it a tartan bunnet and send it on its way, to be hunted by a "Haggis Basher"
