Sorting through my stack of old cycling mags at the weekend and came across one from last June with the news that Laurent Fignon was starting treatment for cancer; anyone know how he's getting on since?

    Google just answered my question:
Laurent Fignon continues to desperately fight against cancer. The 49 year old Frenchman, who won the Tour de France in 1983 and 1984 has was diagnosed in May of 2009 with cancer in his digestive tract. The cancer has spread to his lungs and he has lost 14 kilograms. Fignon will undergo his third round of chemotherapy this week.
