I'm thinking about buying a set of used 36 spoke hubs F&R. anyone got any opinions???

Their headsets are quite expensive, their bottom brackets are very expensive and their hubs are simply breathtakingly expensive.

I'd get new Hopes over second hand CKs any day. they're lighter and quieter but King has the bling.....

3 of my mates have King Hubs (One has Hubs, BB and Headset  ).. I hate them for it, as they are amazing, and roll so so well..

When I'm out riding with them, my poor little Hope ProII's are drowned out by the sound of their King hubs.. sounds something like a swarm of angry bees...

If I had the cash, I'd get them. (1 of my mates bought 2nd hand, the others new.. neither have had any problems, and they are so simple to service).

Agree with Don though, bloody expensive, but uber bling.. :D

Visit CK's webby and download and read the service infos and the info about the bearings and freebody drive.

    and then reconsider them.

Love the bling factor and the angry bee noise, but I could never justify the cost :(
