I'm down to two possibles for a comfortable but fast new bike. She will be used for JOGLE , sportives and laps of richmond park, choices are either

Specialized Roubaix Expert
http://www.specializedconceptstore.co.u ... XPERT%20SL
Or
Bianchi C2C Infinito Ultegra

Am veering towards the Bianchi (it's much better looking though maybe that shouldn't be the decider)....does anyone have any first hand knowledge of either that could help in the choice?

Thanks

I have a 2008 Bianchi C2C, unfortunately not the newer Infinito, but I can't fault my Bianchi, I regularly do 80-100 mile rides and have never had a problem with it.

Ultimately you need to try them both and make up your own mind based on your own feelings for them./which suits you best. I tried both before I bought mine and found the more upright Roubaix not so much to my liking. That said I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed with either.

Definitely try before you buy - if you can, even if you have to travel a little do so.

The Bianchi is the better looking IMO
