Revolution Triad 2.0 '09. Wise buy?

Just bought the triad 2.0(£500,18 inch,i'm 5ft 11) in the january sale, and needless to say am champhing at the bit to rip the arse out of it! Unfortunately between arctic weather and my recent double hernia op ive not been able to do so yet.
Wondered if any of you guys have any happy/horror stories about this puppy.

    Is this the one in last months What MTB magazine ?
    If so I think it won the best budget hardtail test so should be a good'un.

    It is yes. Its my first proper bike after using my brother in laws GT Agressor on loan for a year.Cant wait to give it a bash round glentress soon. Thanks for your reply dude!
