race blades

Have fitted the crud roadracers but they chatter/click all the time when riding would race blades be better bet. Cant fit full size as minimal clearance

    Race blades are far worse!

    Have you fitted the little brush strips?

    no thought they would just rub like mad would they help ? So do race blades band and rattle as well ? Dont really want two sets of mudguards that are noisy !

    thats the point.....

    they hold the guards off the rim/tire, my fixed has very little clearance but the Crud's work perfectly and completely silent ;)
    FCN: 5/6 Fixed Gear (quite rapid) in normal clothes and clips :D

    I'd give the Cruds a little more time.

    For some reason mine were rattling at first but they seemed to have magically straightened themselves out and now there's no noise or wheel rub.

    Failing that, just zip-tie the Raceblades to the frame rather than trust the rubber grippers to stay put. Because they don't :P
