Hi pretty new to this, been riding about 5 years probably bought two wrongly sized bikes from a couple of poor shops ,my fault i know.just wondering if anybody knows good cycle shops Norfolk and Suffolk where you are measured to fit by people with good knowledge love the Boardman pro carbon1500 pounds, when enquiring in the local halfords about being fitted for the bike was told we can lower and raise the seat for you, was quite deflated also like the trek madone 4.5 1600 pounds which is sold locally any suggestions would be welcome thanks

    Unless your bikes are way too big or way too small then surely all you need to do is swap for a longer/shorter stem to get the right reach?
    More problems but still living....

    yea right what you say but i am treating myself to a summer bike spending a lot of money so have to get it right this time cheers

    Take the Boardman geometry/spec to the bike shop that gets the best recommendation, surely they'll suggest the appropriate size and fit it to you if you bring it back to them when bought?

    Might cost you the £100 differential between the Boardman and the Trek
