I currently have a set of Kenda SB8 in a 1.95 bought for my older (now destroyed) rims According to Stans flow the min width is 2.0. This is 1.3mm difference - is this going to be a no-no.

I'm running with tubes if that makes a difference and my SB8 are only 1/3rd worn. I really don't want to go and buy a new set on 2.1s and I want as narrow as possible.

any thoughts.

I'm looking for a tyre set up for some extreme enduro in the summer - (100 miles off road, mostly XC, kitty litter and chalk and flint.)

alternatively can anyone recommend alternative XC tyres.
