A friend of mine has just put a depost down on the new Team Sky Dogma frame. Whilst its quite nice, I'm not sure I would buy a 'team colours' frame. I think it will perhaps date sooner.

Lovely frame, I agree. Having been into motor bikes for year's race reps look great for that season but date fairly quickly after that and are usually worth less than the manufacturer's standard colours. Not sure about the cycle trade though...if it was a Ltd Edition may be worth a few bob in the future.Colnago C60 SRAM eTap, Colnago C40, Milani 107E, BMC Pro Machine, Trek Madone, Viner Gladius,

As long as he doesn't dress from head to toe in the Team Sky kit as well he should be ok!!
It is a stunning looking frame and paint job, although I agree there is the possibility it will date faster than a plainer finish. My overriding feeling though, is one of jealousy!!!!0 -
Has the Team Sky got the 'sparkle' finish or is that exempt from this version?0

Funny, I asked the same question.....its exempt and in my opinion, looks better!0 -
I like it, but would prefer it to be a little more red, white and blue - without sounding jingoistc..!0

Something like this?
Saw a track bike with a paintjob like this at Revolution at the weekend, looked awesome 8)0 -
Exactly. Thats incredible. The real brains behind this team are of course British Cycling....
That looks superb..!0 -
I think the Dogma would of looked great in that paint scheme, but I guess they want to appeal to a wider audience0

Think the Dolan track frames look lovely in the Union Jack scheme.0

Still think this is the best colour scheme for these...
Called "BoB" for "Black on Black"... VERY stealth...Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -
I'm sorry - those wonky forks are still looking odd to me.0

Have to agree, even though I own one of the things.
They do look a bit odd, but they work really, really well... especially under brakes at speed. I've got Time carbon forks on another bike, which are nice and comfortable to ride but flex visibly under even moderate braking, whereas the Onda's are absolutely solid. Fast downhill corners are a hoot on it..Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -

I agree, as EBH is the best rider on that team it'll spur him on to be riding in Norway's coloursScottish and British...and a bit French0 -
I think it is quite a mean looking bike.
The team Sky car was in front of me on the Eurotunnel the other day. Had a roof rack on which looked like it could hold about 8 bikes. But sadly no bikes on it to check out! I had a look in the back to see if there were any freebies I could try and get off the driver but wasn't anything to be had, sadly.0 -
Enjoyed that link in your signature, harpo!
I shouldn't laugh - it's too close to the truth.

Pina are also doing a British Cycling relica coloured model (which looks great imo), as well as the sky one. I'll try and post a pic ..0

ooooooh! that sounds interesting! Not tottaly sold on any of the colours tbh, white and silver I think being the best of them. So would be intersting to see what a red white and blue one would be like!0
