I have recently had a cervical disctectomy, whereby 2 ruptured discs in my spine were removed and replaced with titanium plates.

At the moment I can do pretty much bugger all, am going to try a walk round the block tonight to try and do some form of excersise.

I feel that once I have recovered a little more, I would be able to use something like a recumbant cycle to at least keep my leg muscles going, and help burn some calories without putting strain on my upper back/neck.

I just spotted this on the argos website:
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... 419316.htm

Which looks like it could be used while I am sat on the sofa, and at £30 it seems great value for money too.

Has anyone on here used one? There are 66 reviews on the argos page, all seem pretty good (havent read them all!)

It's not to replace a bike by any means, just as some form of excercise before I can get back on the bike.
