Hi there,
I notice there are some tasty looking Microshift Groupsets on Ebay at present, with carbon STI's, F & R Mechs, FSA Carbon Cranks, Token BB's - look good but sound too good to be true at £299, located in Taiwan - any thoughts / experiences please?
They perport to be lighter than D'ace and as I'm doing a lightweight build, I'm tempted
Cheers
Jon

Over here in the states, both Nashbar and Performance(mail order houses) are selling this
Microshift setup branded with their logos. And at good prices. Although that may or may not reflect on the quality and durability. Don't know anyone who's bought them. They are fairly new, although I believe they are the same type of shifters offered by a company, that for the life of me I can never remember their name(anyone???), that came out with them 5 or so years back. Someone help me here. :oops:0 -
Microshift with a different label? http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/ ... t-09-333550

Yes. I think that's the original product and the Nashbar / Performance items are rebranded
copies by the same manufacturer. Not a clue if they are EXACT copies(material and quality wise).0 -
Sounds like good stuff and looks nice too. Might be tempted when I have the funds to replace my Tiagra / 105 set on my CR1.0

I'm tempted too!
The rear mech looks very like a Dia Compe Gran Compe Rear Mech.
Although the name looks like Microsh*t Ar*e0 -
I have yet to see this Sunrace setup for sale here in the states. At least not in the catalogs, other than the Nashbar / Performance branded items. The Sunrace one looks good though.0
